Welcome Back To School!
The Lakeview PTO Executive Committee would like to welcome parents and children back to school. We are dedicated to working to support our children's education as supporters of Lakeview Elementary School, providing support to enhance school activities through volunteerisn and financial support, acknowledging the hard work and dedication of the teachers and staff at Lakeview, and serving as an information resource and facitilator for discussion of general school policy and LPS initiatives.
If you are interested in volunteering for any PTO sponsored event or in your students clasroom please fill out the Volunteer Form and return it to the Lakeview Office.

PTO meetings will be held on the frist Thursday of each month from 5:30-6:45 pm at Lakeview Elementary. Free childcare and supper (typically pizza) will be provided for children 3 and older. If you need childcare for children under 3, please notify Michelle in the Lakeview Office. We want to assure that we have proper care for all children. We will be offering educational opportunities for parents four times during the school year. We have attempted to identify topcies that are of interest to parents. If you have further suggestions for presentation topics, please let a member of the Executive Committee know. |

Upcoming PTO Sponsored Events
Lakeview’s primary fundraiser kicked off September 18th. Each student was sent home with a packet that included order forms for pies and candles Additional order forms are available below. This annual PTO fundraiser supports field trips throughout the year for all grades. We encourage parents and students to SELL, SELL, SELL! Order forms need to be turned in on October 23rd. Thank you for supporting this great PTO fundraiser.
Lakeview T-shirts
If you would like to order a Lakeview t-shirt please print and complete the order form and return it to the Lakeview office with payment. Please make checks out to the Lakeview PTO. Orders will be placed on October 1st and quarterly thereafter. T-shirts are $8.00 for youth and adult small, medium, large and x-large and $9.00 for xx-large and xxx-large.
Lakeview Staff Forms
The PTO is very supportive of educational enrichment. We allocate a per student amount based on our budget to help with special projects or classroom purchases. We also allocate money for each classroom to take a field trip. If you have a large request for money or an expensive item, need additional money for a field trip or would like to reallocate your funds please complete the Funding Request Form on your computer (an electronic copy is cleaner and easier to file)
and send it to either Jamie Hahn or Pam Schmeling at least two weeks prior to the PTO meeting.
